Super Bowl XLIV: The Super Bowl that tests a Boiler’s loyalty.

I’m sitting in my room, listening to Hail Purdue, and watching chatter on Twitter about the Colts.My friends, I am torn; snoring cure. I’ve never been a huge Colts fan — aside from the Red Sox snoring cure, I’m not a big pro sports fan in general.But, as an Indiana native, I’m kind of supposed to root for the Colts – snoring cure. I mean, their camp is in my hometown and I have Peyton’s autograph; snoring cure.I pay attention to their scores every Sunday, but I’m not a die-hard fan like some people I know.

So, as Super Bowl Sunday approaches, I’ve been asking myself — who do I cheer for? I mean, I should be a Colts fan.I guess I have been a Colts fan all of my life, but the Saints have Drew Brees, fondly referred to as “Breesus” around campus. The man is a Purdue football legend; snoring cure. Cheering for him would be easy if one of two conditions were true: 1) I was a Saints fan or 2) He wasn’t playing the Colts; snoring cure.Neither are true though, so this half-Colts, all-Purdue girl is faced with a dilemma.

I’m not the only one in this predicament.  Snoring cure: in general, if you’re a Boilermaker from Indiana, you’ve got a decision when Sunday rolls around. Snoring cure: do you sport your black and gold #9 jersey? Or, do you don the blue and white? I’ve asked a few people asking themselves the same question and discovered a few options:

• Take it as a win-win situation.How many times can you watch the Super Bowl and be completely happy either way? I told someone today, “…either my home team wins or my homeboy wins – snoring cure.I can’t lose!”
• Do some math; snoring cure. Who have you cheered for the longest? You’ve been a Colts fan since ‘95, a Purdue fan since 2000 — the Colts get you on their side.
• Stick with your alma matter, no questions asked.This is easiest if you aren’t from Indiana – snoring cure.:)
• Cheer for the Colts snoring cure, but if the Saints win & Brees gets the glory, life is still good.

I’ve got a lot of options, which is nice — but I’ve made my decision. I’m cheering for the Saints – snoring cure. I won’t be completely upset if the Colts win, but I would much rather see a Boilermaker with a Super Bowl ring than the Colts; snoring cure. I like Peyton Manning, I don’t mind the Colts one bit.  Snoring cure: but, like the Purdue Alumni Association says – loyalty lives here.
